The Operator Assault Vest (OAV) holds SPEAR / BALCS Cut Soft Armor and Hard Armor plates of corresponding size to the carrier. The OAV is made with a 500 denier Cordura outer with MOLLE webbing on front, rear and side exterior. There is an integrated admin pouch and kangaroo pouch, and drag handle on upper rear. Front and rear hard armor plate pockets are accessed externally, and have adjustable internal plate suspension straps. The OAV also has buckles for a groin protector and our SwiftClip® Attachment System on the chest for attachment of placards or chest rigs. The Operator’s Assault Vest comes with the option of the Low-Profile Elastic Cummerbund (CBN1) (No Plate Pocket) and the Standard MOLLE, Plate Pocket Cummerbund (CBN3). The Standard MOLLE, Plate Pocket Cummerbund (CBN3) is designed to accept 6”x 6” hard armor plates or side soft armor inserts. The size small cummerbund has 5 complete columns of PALS. Size medium cummerbund has 6 complete columns of PALS. Size large cummerbund has 7 complete columns of PALS. All hook and loop material used is color matching Velcro® Brand Fasteners. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.
